One year in the books, sort of.

Well, well, well...one year down. WSW came to life a year ago, although we didn't ramp up the coverage until the beginning of the 2009 WPS season.

That said, we thank you all for coming to read what we have to say. And hopefully you will find your way back to us when time permits.

Looking forward to the second year of WSW.

~Thanks

New London FA County Girls’ League

Release via London FA website --

London FA are pleased to announce the launch of their new County League which will commence in the 2009/2010 season.

We are targeting three age groups, and the divisions that will run will be the U13, U15 and U17 age groups. Teams & Clubs affiliated to the London FA or who have their home ground within county boundaries are able to participate in this league. At the current time we are looking for expressions of interest from teams, so to request a form or for further information please contact Emma Barnes, Women’s & Girls’ FDO, London FA.

This is a fantastic opportunity to bring teams from across London together to compete in the first County League in London.

We are also pleased to announce that the Greater London Women’s League have agreed to take on the administration side, which is a real positive as they have had masses of experience in this side of the game for a number of years.
