Masar Wins WPS Player of the Week

Ella Masar was honored as WPS Player of the Week. Masar scored the tying goal against the Atlanta Beat on Wednesday and scored the winning goal against Sky Blue on Saturday night. They were her 3rd and 4th goals of the season. After not scoring in her first 26 WPS matches, she has now scored four goals in her last four.

Masar's goals enabled Chicago to climb into a 4th place tie with the Washington Freedom. Masar, a University of Illinois alum, was drafted by Chicago in October of 2008.
