Women's Professional Soccer has released its 2010 schedule. All teams will play their season openers on the weekend of April 10-11. The first game of the season will be on Saturday, April 10, with Boston traveling to Washington. The other 6 teams open on April 11. Atlanta opens at Philadelphia in a battle between the two expansion teams. Defending champions Sky Blue FC hosts Chicago, while FC Gold Pride travels to Saint Louis.
The All-Star game will be played midseason on Wednesday, June 30. The site is yet to be determined. The final weekend of the regular season will be the weekend of September 11-12, with the championship game to be played on Sunday September 26. The playoff format will be the same as 2009.
